Dockers has a new campaign out for men. Nice use of typography and although it's not a new concept using type as the body's silhouette (which, by the way, is terrible if you read the message), I can't help but admire the way they did theirs. It's so eye-catching I hardly noticed the khakis that they're trying to sell!
Love this look. Type inside an image is fun. I have used this form in my art quilts. And I like the "let a man be a man and wear the pants" theme. Pants definitely look better on men than on female presidential candidates.
If you're wondering, berty is just a byname and this place is where I share what's buzzing with me.
I'm a creative American-Australian zealot originally from Newport Beach, moved to Boston for 14 years but now am starting fresh again in Austin. You can see some of my past projects at bertydesign (shamefully, it needs a heavy haul of recent work and I'm getting to it!).
I hope you'll discover something new here... that's the mission anyway. Cheers!

Well at least on Hillary. I couldn't get into the... one of every color thing either. I particularly hated the orange suit.
